Fees and Finance
1. According to the student exchange agreement, an exchange student needs to pay tuition fees to his/her home university rather than the host university.
**Students from universities that have no student exchange agreement with NCKU have to pay the tuition.
2. Except the aforementioned tuition, you also need to pay for:
(1)Accommodation
•
On-campus accommodation ranges from NT$5,700 to NT$13,500 per semester
(depends on the dormitory assignment).
•
Off-campus accommodation ranges from NT$30,000 to NT$50,000 per semester.
(2)Other expenses
•
Living expenses range from NT$7000 to NT$9000 per month
•
Residence visa application: NT$3,000 (NT$4,400 for students holding American Pass-
port)
•
Alien Resident Certification (ARC) application: NT$1,000
•
Deposit of dormitory key and relevant expenses: NT$1,000-1,500 for key deposit,
other relevant expenses depend on the dormitory assignment
•
Internet access: NT$200 per semester (if you stay in the dormitory)
