Future Development

·        The Department will initiate academic cooperation with universities at home and abroad, so as to broaden the vision of the Department and improve its status vis-à-vis other major Taiwan universities.

·        The Department will exchange visits with universities at home and abroad as part of its effort to promote academic cooperation and exchanges.

·        The Department will join projects organized by the Department of Chinese Literature and the Department of History in the aspect of translating Chinese literary pieces and documents into a variety of foreign languages.

·        The Department will cooperate with the Institute of Art Studies in elevating the quality of Western drama performances.

·        The Department plans to raise research funds from outside the university to sponsor the projects proposed by the faculty members.
