Our curriculum is similar to other medical departments in England, US and Japan. It is the largest department in the NCKU College of Medicine, consisting of 29 departments. There are nearly 500 students. The teaching language is mainly Mandarin but English courses are increasing. Student must complete a minimum of about 256 credits for graduation. Students who graduate from the seven-year program receive a Bachelor of Medicine degree. Premedical courses are taken during the first two years, followed by two years of basic medical sciences and theoretical courses. Students begin their clinical rotations during their fifth year and complete one year of internship on their seventh year prior to graduation |
