has been aiming its research and instruction at the theory and application
of
advanced chemistry, thus training more advanced chemists to contribute
to national economical
construction. Therefore, both theory and application are stressed in the
teaching of this department.
¡@¡@As chemistry is the most practical of the basic sciences, and many technology-intensive
industries need the participation of chemists, the development plan of
the department has been focused on information chemistry, computer chemistry,
theory simulation, synthetical theory, laser chemistry, biochemistry,
natural products chemistry, and so on.
