  研究興趣
 本研究室目前著重於生物無機化學 (bioinorganic chemistry) 的研究,主要是想利用無機化合物探討金屬蛋白質 (metalloproteins) 活性部位的結構和功能,並且同時發展工業上有用的催化劑。所以主要的研究內容包含:
 1. 設計、合成和研究有機配位基及其金屬化合物
 2. 透過瞭解這些金屬化合物的化學來探討金屬在金屬蛋白質所扮演的角色
 3. 發展工業上有用的催化劑

  Research Interest

     Our research interest focuses on elucidating the roles metal ions play in various biological processes. We are investigating the relevant coordination chemistry of the metalloproteins. In addition, We are also exploring the activation of small molecules related to substrates of these metalloproteins. The specific goals in the short-term projects are:
    (1) Design, synthesize, and study new transition metal complexes that are apt to exhibit interesting
      structural, reactivity, and/or physical properties.
    (2) Understand the active site of metalloproteins from synthetic model compounds.
    (3) Develop industrially important catalysts.
